Call Transfer – transfer calls easily
If you receive calls on behalf of a colleague you can screen these calls by placing them on hold and then checking that your colleague is available before transferring.
Answer your call
Answer an incoming call by clicking the green call button.
Place the caller ‘On Hold’
Click the pause button in the call window once you have established that you need to transfer the call to another contact.

From your contact list call the contact you want to transfer the call to

Select call transfer
To transfer the call select Menu > Transfer the call to…. Alternatively, go to Call > Transfer the call on the toolbar or right click on the call window and select Transfer the call from the menu

Select a contact or number to transfer the call to
When selecting “Transfer the call to…”, a list containing your five most recent transfers or calls will appear. You can select one of these contacts or use the “Someone else …” option to select another contact.
When transferring the call to a Skype contact, you can enter a message in the window so that they know what the call is regarding.
Skype Pro subscribers can also transfer the call to a landline or mobile phone.

Transfer the call
To begin transferring the call, click the Transfer button.
As soon as the other person picks up the transferred call, you will be disconnected from the call.
Note: You can only transfer incoming calls.
